In 1995, Stephen began his civil engineering degree in University of Auckland, which ultimately launched his career in the engineering industry. He has worked locally in New Zealand, and abroad in Malaysia and United Kingdom.

Kopi Engineering (Kopi) was formed by Stephen with its base in South East Auckland in 2010. Stephen has since been working closely with the architects, developers, builders and designers with the simplest motive of bridging the gap between concept and reality, aiming to provide what is best for his clients.

Kopi has since 2010 been delivering successful engineering consultancy projects, slowly growing its portfolio and team to what it is now. Stephen’s openness and Kopi’s flat hierarchy offers its people the chance to make their marks on projects and is part of the reason why Kopi has grown its business from referrals and repeat clients.

Kopi’s current portfolio includes a wide range of structural designs covering commercial, residential as well as civil projects. Our projects have varied from small renovations and refurbishments through to new residential and commercial properties.
